I don't usually like cheese with stuff in but that Wensleydale with sour cherries is lush. It's very much the same vibe as Christmas cake and Wensleydale. Sweet, savoury, salty, creamy loveliness.

Burland Bloom is like an English Camenbert. I'm going to buy another one and will bake it whole. The Red Leicester is top drawer too.

Over the festive period I've knocked fuck out of a Shropshire Blue, caned a smoked cheddar and had a decent Wensleydale on its toes.

Tried some different cheeses this year:

Alp Blossom
Waterloo
Leeds Blue
Bingley Brie

All very palatable except the Waterloo,
won’t bother with that again. The Alp Blossom was a particular hit and I got a second helping when I went to get some raclette, for the New Day’s meal.

You’ll be fine with Peccorino and Emmanthal. Not strong tasting at all. Peccorino is like a weaker parmesan and emmanthal is like a nutty weak comte.

Comte is the King of Cheeses btw
