I read somewhere that Putin is shit scared of the Russian people wanting a Western looking democracy like the Ukraine. If they see it working there, the game is up for him. He's at an age where he is thinking about his legacy so he wants to destroy what he sees as an ultimate threat. Don't know how much truth is in that. As a species we never fucking learn do we? It's depressing as fuck. Gorbachev realised that the best thing to do with so much power is to give it away. This cunt has been in power for so long he's fucking pure dead mental. Cooley Yes Ironside's back seems to be holding up thanks old boy. Loads of yoga and pilates is helping (she's at a pilates class right now, probably letting out little Tommy squeakers in the tough poses). Funny thing re the sleeping, last week i was on holiday, drank every night - slept appallingly. Haven't drank since Friday, sleeping brilliantly this week. Think im very close to fucking off drinking for good. I love sleeping well a lot more.

The government that was overthrown in 2014 was a puppet government put in place by Putin. It's because they overthrew it and became a proper democracy that he attacked.
