If the West does not have a leg to stand on then it should at least struggle to it's knees. I feel no shame or guilt about the past deeds, only that they let self interest turn into some imperial bollocks that has resulted in all this foreign spend that costs the UK and doesn't earn anythingI know what Putin is and I know what the leaders of the 'free world' were and are - and the only difference I see is context and spin. The end effect is the same to those affected ,well apart from he hasn't overseen the death of millions as those lucky 'liberated' people in Iraq and those really lucky Syrians enjoying the fruits of our desire to see them free from oppression.
