Made the trip to that there London for Morrissey in Brixton.
He was superb. Alain Whyte is back in the band. You can tell. Jack the Ripper was vicious. He didn’t piss around the set list was full of classics. Please let me get what I want was beautiful. You could hear the audience swoon.
His voice was faultless. You may not like what he is but there no denying his presence.,
The best I have seen him. Not sure if this or Weller in my hometown was better. Both are gods to me though

Anchor Love The Pretenders. Not sure what she’s like these days but I always thought her voice was amazing.

Jon Exactly the same. Her voice is amazing for a 71 year old. Not a hit in sight. I only knew three songs. Biker, sunglasses and The Buzz but it did not matter - the band were awesome and she is great.

The band are called His Lordship if anyone is interested.

Killing joke. Fuck me. Proper loud. Never see them. Massive sound & played like the headliner. Impressed
Billy idol. He was good. Old fashioned rock n roller. Good presence & good voice. White wedding & rebel yell are classics in anyones book. Eyes without a face was excellent as well. A very good evening of entertainment & good line up.

Saw Melts last night at Hyde Park Book Club. Irish krautrock, very impressive. Support was The Dream Machine - derivative cliched scouse jangly guitar pop, and Warm Graves - DAF influenced Leipzig trio.

2/3 decent.
