Spent 9 hours, yesterday, stood in the pouring rain in Aireville Park, Skipton, for the Gateways Festival, watching the likes of The Lightning Seeds, Dodgy, Buzzcocks and a number of other bands of varying quality. Ended up soaked to the skin in biblical weather conditions, but it was nice to be seeing live music again. Not sure I could face doing the same again, today, though.
Did anyone else go? Quite surprised to hear Buzzcocks play 'Orgasm Addict' to a family-friendly audience. Great stuff! Lightning Seeds playing '3 Lions' as it siled it down was also a highlight.
