Jon hendersonjones Who’s singing? Arthur had a pretty distinctive voice, hard to replace I’d imagine.
hendersonjones Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Yes mate , been seeing them for 25 years now , they were Arthur Lee,s band , not sure how long Johnny echols will continue to play think he’s 77 now
Misura hendersonjones it wasn't until I saw your post that I realised that they were still touring. I saw them a every year from 2002 until 2005 in Sheffield & Manchester. I'm going to catch them in Nottingham I think.
fulmine Sex Pistols with Frank Carter (whoever that is) at Shepherds Bush Hall tonight. Couldn’t resist. Just to hear the backing vocals to EMI live. And it’s pretty much just across the road, five minutes away. Having a few ales to get in the mood. No future!!!
fulmine Flaneur It was pretty bloody glorious at times, but I don’t think I even looked at the singer more than twice. He was very Green Day. Lots of kids crowd surfing while wearing backpacks. Funny how the band’s personalities seem so different when Lydon’s not there, Paul Cook was suddenly very chatty, Matlock looked great in his leopard skin tie and with a QPR flag draped over his amp, Steve Jones was hilarious, still doing the Johnny Thunders moves. But no Rotten no Pistols. Still a great night though!
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Mate sent me a link yesterday for a one-day festival in September, at a boozer in Morley. Looks like it’s free? Anyone been to previous iterations? Harvest? Any good…?

Harvest I guess it's this, first I've heard, a mere 5 minute walk from my house. Nelson's really on the up, dusty old boozer for years, new owners have really turned it round.
Harvest Young_Marxist_at_Tescos I'll have a proper look at who's playing, none of this tribute act carry on. Burnley at home, 12.30 but will likely have a slice of it when I'm back.
Under-the-ground Just lining up my concerts for the end of the year. Jason Isbell in November, so giving him a blast. I can’t wait for this, he hardly plays over here. I think he is brill. Listen to the live version of cover me up . The crowd going mental.
