white_dragon otis I'm going to see squeeze at Llandudno. Didn't know BDB was the support. Excellent news.
white_dragon Paul Carrack was really good, his voice is still exceptional along with a talented band. Made for a great listening experience in the Philharmonic.
Jon Under-the-ground Don't know where he gets the energy. Just finished a big US tour. Have a good one. The the tickets on Stubhub from $6s for The Beacon tonight. Love it when touts get it wrong.
Under-the-ground Weller in my old hometown. Nothing good happens there so you have to go. Bumped into a few old faces. The support was bland. Weller was ok, but not as good as he has been. The style council ones were brilliant. Some picks from mid 90s era. Some from on sunset, but the new stuff & album doesn’t do it for me. So probably that’s why I didn’t think he was right on it. However they did walking on guilded splinters. Craddock went skywards he so fucking good. Really tasteful. They out spiritualised spiritualised. So all in all a good evening. Still one of my heroes
otis Badly drawn boy and squeeze, York tonight We never made it due to having to go back to leeds for something, still we are here ready for the dayer tomorrow
Travis_Bickle Great night with the eldest at Halifax Minster watching Philip Selway from Radiohead doing a solo slot and then playing with Lanterns on the Lake. Beautiful venue. Hannah's played there a few times. It was a perfect backdrop for this band. They were new to me. Loved it. The singer has a beautiful voice. Their sound is big and washes over you. Lovely stuff. Chapeau to @Harvest for thinking of us and letting us have the tickets. Acemans.
Djpekingman 90Piesanhour Saw them just just pre covid in a shit pub round the back of the market in Alicante. They were ace. Had a good natter with Faye afterwards. Didn’t seem to be getting on too well with Eugene. Enjoy.
YoungParisian_inExile YP Jnr had a guestie for Dua Lipe at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday . Kid lucked out as Elton John made a surprise cameo .
