Went to Cartmel and Ulverston area with old school mates for the weekend, for "a bit of walking".
Fuckers made me walk about 2 miles up a big hill and then loads more.
11 miles we did!! That's nearly half a marathon.

Just back from the barbers with my 3 year old. Took chocolate to get him in the car, me to then hold him down and two barbers to get it done as quickly as possible.

He fought like a right little fucker. I was sweating at the end of it.

What s all that about, apparently I did exactly the same thing at that age, I don t remember it. My mam said it was murder.
By the time I was 7, my dad took me to a barbers and he was called Lawrence. He looked nothing like a Lawrence, he used to sell condoms or Rubber Johnnies as they were known as.
My dad dropped me off and went to park the car. Lawrence asked me how I wanted my hair, everyone had long hair back then. I mumbled that I liked long hair and not to cut much off.
My dad walked in and Lawrence said, he wants to keep his hair long. I remember looking in the mirror at my dad.
He said, it doesn`t matter what he wants, short back and sides please.

Years ago I watched a documentary about the bloke that created this, he’s called Brian Clarke. Interesting fella, working class from Oldham and he’s some uber glass designer sort after all over the world. Courted by celeberities, artsists, musicians, fashion houses, lords, ladies, kings and queens.
