Tolley CBIT He'll be missing out on the mounted police charging the mobs of be-wigged learned friends, armed with quills and rolls of parchment, attacking the coachloads of scab legal secretaries being driven into Leeds Crown Court.
Harvest hendersonjones Never got round to it. Driving on the opposite side wouldn't feel right to me.
Djpekingman Harvest Driving on the left in a foreign country is even more disconcerting. You expect to be on the right. It's just weird. Colombia is probably the worst I've driven in. They're just fucking mental. I managed to avoid driving in Lima and Mexico City. A cab ride was more than enough. Ride to the airport in Guadalajara, Mexico at 5 in the morning was interesting. Traffic lights appear to be advisory at best.
hendersonjones Theres a cockerel crowing a donkey/mule in the distance braying the odd dog barking and bird song , and the slight noise of water tumbling down from the andalusian hills sat here with a coffee and to the back of me the wife snoring 😆
Djpekingman Foxy_Dread Ain't what it used to be. Most of the village pubs with an old guy with a dog have gone. Those that survive have been replaced by emporiums selling lasagne and chips as 'traditional irish pub fayre'. There's still the odd one surviving in the wilds of Mayo but so many have disappeared. And the roads in summer are saturated with motorhomes and 'Paddy Wagons' full of fat american tourists.
Jon Djpekingman Been in two pubs in the last six years so that wouldn’t really be an issue for me. Foxy_Dread Maybe.
Loose_Lips Filling for a 5-a-side game in Ardwick. Rode into work on Monday and pulled something in my left leg. Just realised I'm still not right.
