Ha, you and me both Reg. I've just had me bloods done, too much cholesterol and too much alcohol, had a berry smoothie for breakfast a work today as opposed to the usual almond croissant. Small steps an all that.

Pal at work has done the whole 'eat clean' and strict exercise regime thing for about 8-10 weeks now. Results have been amazing but to be honest I couldn't be arsed. He weaned himself off sugar and I get that, good idea for all of us. But whilst I know I'm lucky as I'm naturally thin, I'll be fucked if I'm giving up blue cheese, pasta and Cadbury's Wispas.....

All the above is spot on advice...........particularly that from TB. Peanut butter, if you like it, is also your friend.

Back to the OP - Sat in conservatory, eating mixed nuts and raisins, drinking Zero electrolyte drink (citrus) and listening to Ghost Poet after riding 20, Lakeland, miles. Nice and sunny but a proper cheeky breeze.

Good fats are your friends. Real butter, olive oil, lard. Margarine iis manufactured from some sort of plastic waste. Leave it out of the fridge for a year it'll never go off.Less booze, more exercise, real food, good sleep is all you really need. Fad diets are just that.
