Jon Placid That’s in the photos on the top. The ones of the folk on frogmen suits are of people snorkelling in it. She did it last year with her twin, thankfully. Today has been Bunnymen falls and lots of other falls along the way, one in a cave. Load of English school kids wading through the water to get into the cave while some mad woman who bore a passing resemblance to Ronnie Wood with a stuffed animal toy balanced on a stone in the river pushing everyone out of her way. Great stuff.
fuzzy McDonald's near Chorley train station. Got a 3 hour meeting at Chorley hospital soon. I'm eating an egg mcmuffin with a large coffee, staring out of the window at the drizzle and traffic whilst listening to Biosphere. Feeling like the future came too quickly and people weren't ready for it.
Travis_Bickle Kitchen table working. Watching the rain and contemplating whether to go to Carlisle United away.....
CharlieG Travis_Bickle We've got tickets but it remains to be seen whether it'll get called off. The flood gates are going up in Cockermouth this afternoon as 240mm of rain fell on some the hills in the last 24hrs. 64mm in Keswick. Going to be fun when that lot hits the, already full, rivers.
