Me and 2 mates went and walked up Skiddaw week before xmas long time ago. Its was just pure ice at the top, on our hands and knees to make it to the top. All the other walkers had crampons and ice poles. Like explorers

On our way down I was taking us down the wrong way in horizontal snow at gale force.. other lad gets us back on right path. We were 100m off walking off the side of the mountain.

Can see how accidents happen
