Was it on a freshly baked naan?[/quote]There's too much meat and salad to be constrained by a pitta so it comes in a box with a pitta laid on top. The large is an obscene amount of food. It defeats me every time.

I watched it with the volume down on a small Tele at the brudenell. First few rounds were poor.. tentative (which is understandable... cagey... also understandable.. AJ didn't seem to settle in well to me. Too much bouncing round amateur style. From both it was jab jab, jab, right cross... typical heavyweight stuff. Can't remember either boxer letting any combinations go. ( I was pissed though) I've kind of always respected klitshko but never truly rated him. A good heavy in a poor era. I thought he was very good Saturday in parts. I'm almost surprised he didn't finished Aj. And Joshua looked to be blowing out his arse to me after five rounds. The extra weight doesn't seem to have done him any good.. his second wind came just in time. A fury at his best would best Joshua I think. He's a far better boxer than either of those two. I agree with reg. He made klitshko look shit.. and without the layoff, the demons and the amazing weight increase he would it again better than the first time. Mainly I was very surprised at the lack of punches thrown by Joshua.. I think he's lacking a few skills. He is fast and accurate and hits very hard. But he needs to improve somewhat. Didn't look like a McCracken trained fighter to me. Great win though. My prediction beforehand was an earlier stoppage than 11... 6 or 7 I though. I thought speed wasnthe key. And once he connected he would smell blood and go for it because of his age. Glad I didn't have a bet

Oh..And I'm only going to meet ROBERTO FUCKIN DURAN on Thursday.. my absolute boxing idolCan't wait to shake his hand. Really can't

Hmmm. Just watched it again sober.. shows what eleven hours of drinking does combined with a small Tele and no volume. It was actually a far better fight than I remembered!! Really enjoyed it just now. For a heavyweight scrap that was good. Fair play to the pair of them and ignore half my first comments.. although still think the proper Tyson is too good a boxer

I think Joshua is hyped to fuck. It's not his fault. He's a good boxer but from what I've seen so far of him, he doesn't deserve the hype. It's a business not a sport and I guess that's all part of it. In isolation, it was a good fight but like Scootay said above he looked like he was sucking wind after five rounds. I think he should have taken Klitschko in round five given the amount of time he had left in the round but he didn't look capable. I wouldn't put too much stock on Klitschko's age, with advances in nutrition and sports science, and let's not for get he's a smart fuck not some thick fuck from the boondocks, he's looked after himself, but I would think it's worth referencing the fact it was fight number 69 for him. I don't know what to make of him or Fury as I've only a passing interest in the heavyweight division due to it's long term mediocrity turning me off. Quite happy to stick my neck out and say the next great heavyweight isn't even fighting a s a pro yet, let alone contesting belts. I know fuck all about this Denontae whatever he's called. Remember when you knew the contenders as well as the heavy weight champs? Scootay, I passed up the chance to meet Duran prior to the John Duddy Yuri Boy Campos fight as I couldn't be arsed going up to the Bronx. I'd like to have seen him after, after they robbed his fighter. Funny how much blokes of a certain age love Duran when we really missed the bulk of his amazing career.

Yeah. I think the image of him in the Marlborough shorts and beard against Leonard was a strong image. Stuck with me like Ali in Everlast. Iconic. 1980, I was 11. Right about the time I fell in love with Debbie Harry and started into ska music.

Scoots, Cuts, remember Floyd Havard, Welsh super featherweight from the 80's. For some reason I really liked his style and he was very unlucky to not win a world title. He took a fight at very short notice I seem to recall and lost to JJ Molina.

Totally agree about Duran, proper hardnut. My all time favourite moment in boxing....the last 20 seconds when he fought Hagler in 83..toe to toe and then that stare of defiance at Hagler when the final bell went...arms out wide before shouting across the ring "You couldn't knock me out!"Hagler was an overwhelming favourite and at his peak whereby Duran was considered well past it.Read his Biography "Hands of Stone",great read and mention of him hardly training for the Hearns fight,.Probably explains why he got battered but apparently it was commonplace for Duran!

Yeah I liked Floyd havard a lot. I used to train at the transport club in Bradford with paddy (John) Doherty who was British super feather champ three times. He stopped Floyd hazard in his backyard. I was there.i saw John win the central area title and win and lose the British a few times. I was also there when he lost the European. He was a gifted little boxer was John but lacked power in the ring. On the bags in the gym he hit hard and seemed to have more power in sparring but it didn't seem to transfer. But yes I thought hazard was good and had a big future. So did most of the boxing world. But paddy shocked him!

Right as Round 1 began - neither of us had known it was on, helluva fight.
