There's a good 5 or so, clearly identifiable people on that video who should be getting an early morning knock on the door, but they won't. If that was United v. Wednesday, they'd be on the front cover of the star & a police appeal for names.

Blencathra hounds were brought into Keswick this morning. All led in on leads with the master of hounds at their head blowing one of those annoying hunting horns. No protesters but two unmarked Volvo estates were parked either end of the market square, with six tooled up AROs.

I knew a hunt saboteur as well, although it probably wasn't as honourable.
He was the first person in England to be banned from all 92 football league grounds.
He loved fighting and couldn't go within a mile of a football ground.
Fortunately for him, hunts normally take place well away from town/city centres.
Bans don't last forever, so after a few fights with the landed gentry he returned to football.

The bloke being hit is already being held by someone else and doesn't appear to be threatening or using violence towards anyone. His group are strung out along a wall with what seems to be a much larger group surrounding them. I can't see his group being overtly threatening or violent save for the guy with the cup. None of the larger group appear to be in danger or in fear of violence.
In the absence of evidence that radically changes that view, I'd advise the CPS to charge him with if asked. There's a good argument to charge all of the 'tweeds' and cup man with affray.
