Park run this morning. Cunt quotient was low. Apart from the cunt who nearly took me out as I went past him down the hill.

I did another 5.5 miles mid-week in 54 mins. That's about my pace at the moment. Might do park run again next Saturday after 2 weeks off.

Youngest daughter managed her first 10k this morning. She was so pleased that she did a bit extra to make it 11k. Since she's never been a fan of running, unlike her two siblings, I'm really chuffed for her.

Sister in law persuaded me to go for a run with her this morning. A steady 20 mins round the park in the cold sunshine. Blew the cobwebs and all that.

Headlamp by Petzl - Mrs YP knows that I like to run with the cars in the dark .
2 in 1 shorts Lululemon - difficult to find sensibly priced shorts that have the lycra inner & a compression pocket for your phone. Mys YP got the baggy 7" version ... which are ok. Apart from that wouldn't advise as the liner is thin poor quality lycra and the compression pocket is crap, phone bounces around .

Any recommendations ... I know Satisfy have a very good pair and sriously considering pulling the ' we bought your collection from day 1 ' card to get a freebie.

Otherwise ... shoes:
Bought myself the Adidas EVO SL much hyped shoes in the ATR (winter shoe) version ... not good for my style, nor very good at being all terrain all weathers. Knees have been killing me since I've been wearing them. Reverted back to the Asics Novablast.
SCouring the sales for the Saucony Endorphin Speeds.
Also need to buy some cheap merino base layers . LOts of clear skies here in Brighton and its fucking Baltic 😂

YoungParisian_inExile I got some passenger trail shorts. Lycra inner and loads of pockets. Distinctly cheaper than the Nike ACG version as well.

I wear one of those belts. They look like a cumerband. Has four pockets and one zipped. Lycra so nice snug fit.

I use it when I travel as well. Keep the passports in it and my wallet.

They have a name which I forget.

Cheeky little 5.10 miles in 51 mins along the canal, followed by some TKD practice in the park. Cobwebs sorted out.
