Raposa A very steady 4 miles this morning. Carrying some extra timber after a fortnight of extravagance in the sun so need to work that off first before stepping it up again. Couple of mates doing the Ilkley half marathon today, rather them then me!
90Piesanhour Signed up for 10k around Bolton Abbey on 4 August 2019. Multi-terrain, so anything could happen, but I've managed 69 park runs, a Santa fun run and a previous 10k in April, so fingers crossed. Well done everyone, running isn't easy.
Anchor Travis_Bickle Fair play. I'm not great in the AM but when I do it does not disappoint. Also you seem to get more done in your day.
Travis_Bickle Definitely run slower at that time but that doesn't bother me. It was beautiful out there this morning. The run drops me into the valley, there was a point where it was like running into a freezer when I hit a pocket of cold air. Couple of horses in a field I ran through. Their eyes followed me as I ran past. All very Zen......
Raposa Something different this morning. Live right opposite a decent size park so decided to run full circuits on the grass only to take the strain off the knees a bit. Just short of a mile round so did 5 laps but still feel a bit guilty as it's fairly flat with no inclines of note. Nice run all the same and no rain unlike yesterday.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens On a long weekend in the Darlington countryside at the mo and managed to run three consecutive 3 milers. The worrying thing is I'm running slowly, struggling and a half marathon seems a long way off. A local pig even popped its head over the wall to have a look this morning. Mind you the noises I was making it probably thought I was one of its mates.
Travis_Bickle 8.4 miles today. Had a good week, couple of quicker shorter ones so thought I'd go a bit further. Some bloody steep bits but they're good for the lungs..... Hardly anyone uses some of the paths. Lucky having it on the doorstep....
