The weekend starts at noon for me today. But not before I've completed a pile of ironing to a back-drop of Jazz FM, and cleaned up all of the leaves from the garden. Dogs have been dispatched to day-care, and an overnight stay at the kennels.
Me and the wife are off into Chester for our Xmas day out. It's a reduced version of our former tradition where we used to have a night out in a hotel and dinner somewhere, waking up the next day on Xmas Eve, and the run-in to Xmas.
Today at noon, we will be going to the local train station, for the 12.16pm train into Chester, which arrives at 12.37pm.
Ten minutes after arrival, we should be in Harkers:
Then we will make our way across town, to Chef's Table for a 2.30pm lunch:
Most likely a couple in Opera:
And then the train back home.
