I lived with my sister the next road down from Teignmouth road in the 90s - just before she emigrated to Australia. Used to get to go to some boss doctor and nurse parties round there.

Lovely Apartment overlooking city Square and the queens hotel with its ginger bread house lighting , food was superb at the grand pacific , wife had a few cocktails before hand

Early-ish start for Gateshead away tomorrow, 12.30 kick-off, then the kids have insisted on the Metro Centre afterwards.

Managed to pull a deal out of the shit, so in a good space, should see us through to March. Few beers tonight and put tree up, youngest’ Christmas show tomorrow and then the eldest is doing a street dance competition at the National stadium on Sunday, then birthday on Monday.

Since it worked so well during the lockdown, and the Company were saving such a shit-load of cash, we all 7 now work permanently from home, whether we want to or not. Not that there's much choice - there are no longer any offices for us to go to.

Had a long day at work. Few drinks tonight at home with some sounds. Big shop in morning plus a few jobs. Leeds match in the afternoon then work's shindig in Leeds tomorrow - will NOT, under any circumstances end up in the same state as last year. Taking the lad to play football on Sunday somewhere Hfax way. Day off Monday so time to think about Christmas for the first time and put the tree and decorations up.

Going to see step granddaughter (step daughter's daughter)in a panto tonight, with her theatre group. Tomorrow got one of my grandsons for the day and overnight.
Sunday taking other 2 grandsons and 2 step grandchildren to cinema.

Off to the match tomorrow, probably stood up all the way from Derby to Leeds because x country can't put bigger trains on and they are always rammed, and it will be the same going home as well. Food in Leeds market then a few drinks in The Bankers Cat. Sunday I'll probably get all the booze, snacks, chocs etc for Christmas and some more work on utility/toilet room i,m building
