Used to go down to Sittingbourne in Kent with work.
Bloody long drive but a lovely part of the world.
It’s called the garden of England with good reason.

Raposa My mum lived in Sittingbourne for a time. Some of the towns in North Kent are a bit rough but the countryside around there lovely.

There was a Gillingham Manager in the 90's who said if Kent is the Garden of England then Gillingham must be the outside toilet.

Which made me laugh.

Harvest I always thought Henry VIII coined the term as the climate 500 odd years ago was ace. He moved a lot of the royal agriculture to Kent to take advantage of it.

The most Cherries in the UK are grown in Kent and stuff like that.
