Just started off the weekend by instead of going to a pub I did a sauna, steam room, shower, swimming pool and finished in a hot tub. Just got back. I might make this a regular Friday night thing.

Off to Benidorm Thursday for 3 nights, joint 60th and stag do. Upwards of 30 blokes going.

Got back yesterday 3 o'clock. Eventful but no trouble. Our little gang spent a few hours on the beach in the mornings , kept us off the ale till around 2. Good crowd and a great laugh. Left one lad still there, got the day of his flight wrong. 2 full days was enough.

Two things that are on my mind:

1) I've not had a drink for over six weeks.
2) In the 'match chat' on WhatsApp the other night, two of them started chuntering on about migrants.

Working. As always. I prefer to work weekends, I like having my time off when everyone is at work, also more sport to watch whilst working.

Chatted with two of my kids, texts with the other, watched the match, walk with my Mrs/Carer, 20 minutes on the bike trainer, changed the air filter in the motor, haircut, shower, watching Liverpool Villa, off out for a bite to eat this evening.

He's then picking me up tomorrow at 10.00am to take me to Shipley train station.

Not seen him since 2021. Jeff Baj will be joining us after taking his young lad to the Leeds game.
