Jon Ditched the Sunday roast idea for a beef bourguignon but had to tweak it a little when I couldn’t get any pearl onions, diced some shallots instead. Beef stew. She did some roast spuds and there’s enough left over for a couple of midweek suppers. We’re into the season of good food, expanding waistlines and flirting with gout.
