Travis_Bickle Chicken fillets stuffed with goat's cheese and thyme, wrapped in Parma ham. Roasted in olive oil with tomatoes. New potatoes. Wanted samphire but none in the shop. Very nice.
Harvest Got a full Sunday dinner on the go - pork, roasties, veg, gravy + ale. Iggy's show on 6 followed by Tom R. Kitchen door gets shut and I appear three hours later, slightly refreshed and carrying a gastronomic wonder. Buon appetito.

Reggie_Perrin I was choosing what dead animal to cook tomorrow and chicken is by far the most cost effective option. Large chicken for about a fiver. The brisket I got was about £17, pork is cheap but I rarely get the crackling right so I avoid it. Turkey too big and a leg of Lamb tops 20 sovs to feed 6.
