Djpekingman this one hasn't been used for close on 20 years and massively over engineered. The Dis board i took out (which was totally fucked) had about 500 quids worth of RCDs and MCBs on it including 3 phase Kit (these is no 3 phase anywhere in the village) and a "burn out" protector for the pump. this part alone was 150 quid (the new pump cost me 125!) They had installed 2 x 12 volt lights and the cable from the massive transformer was thick enough to run the whole village, they had actually run 2 separate 3 core 6mm cables in the same conduit for a 10m stretch. just to carry 12v to the lights.
So Re engineered a Dis board with 100 quids worth of Kit, an RCD and MCB a plug in timer. and 2 battery operated LCD colour changing ip 65 lights for 25 quid a pop. Told the missus she will be swimming this weekend so best get on and replace the loose tiles and then ready to re commission. (any tips would be appreciated by the way as it sounds like you know your stuff!)
