cordshoes Spent a lazy weekend watching Pistol. Enjoyed it in a pantomine way. Would assume that Steve Jones was in love/lust with Chrissie Hynde given the large way she featured, and how good looking the actress was. Historical context was more or less okay, but one sad pedantic point....one scene in Paul Cook's bedroom in late 1975 showed board games on top of a wardrobe, included Hungry Hungry Hippos which wasn't on sale until 1978. 😅
Cooley Finished Sherwood last night (iPlayer). Not as good as the Guardian make out, but a solid drama nonetheless.
Anchor I've been watching Our Friends in the North. Not sure if it on iplayer or owt but it's pretty fucking good and very relevant. Passed me by in the 90s.

Cooley Yeah, top notch series. Haven’t seen it in a long time, but you’re right, some cast. Ecclestone, Grouty, James Bond. Mark Strong - and his singing. Made me laugh, I recall. Or cringe. Can’t remember.

EEPW Light and Magic on disney plus superb viewing for anybody with a slight interest in Star wars or 70s special effects, film making in general. loving it
