just re watched Mr bates vs the post office after watching the the reopening of the enquiry. Packs even more of a punch 2nd time round being able to put real faces to the names and knowing more now about the case. Must admit it got me quite emotional in places. Also went back and watched the youtube footage of the select committee enquiry where they tore Paula Vennells and Angela van den Bogerd new arseholes. I really hope those smug lying twats get locked up for a long time. highly recommended 2nd time viewing.

If you have Discovery+ (available for an extra £3.99/month on Amazon) you can watch "Adam Richman eats Britain". First episode he does Leeds - scoffing scran at Kirkgate Market and such. He has ancestors from Leeds - apparently.

Finally got round to Ripley and it’s very good. Slow-paced, very heavy on the atmosphere, superb black and white cinematography. Andrew Scott quite decent. Just one scene with Freddie Miles so far. The actor plays him as a malevolent imp, couldn’t be further from Hoffmann, good choice
