Noah Hawley is some writer and I'd recommend his novels to anyone.

I did enjoy the most recent TD though. Thought it worth a watch and better than S3.

On a recommendation I started watching Loudermilk.

Started watching Rivals last night, gave up half way through. It's a re vamped glammed up Jilly Cooper based show. Mine and the wife's conclusion was that she was shit then and is even shitter now.

I find it bizzare it even got commissioned. A complete fossil of a story line. Shit loads of character actors in it must have cost a fortune. Bit like Carry On meets Dynasty.

Just a boys game is available on Iplayer. Scorsese was inspired by it, so I read.
Set in a rough part of Glasgow in the 70s.
Frankie ( darling ) Miller is in it.

Just watched three (of the five that's dropped - there's ten of these) episodes of The Jackal.

He wears some ace clothes in it.

It's a 7/10 (tops for me), though the final scene on the escalator in episode three is very good.

On Iplayer. African Apocalypse. Basically a black guy from Bolton who read at Oxford & goes on a road trip influenced by heart of darkness.
He finds a French guy Paul Thulet who does a Kurtz. It’s absolutely brilliant. The devastation is mad . What a story. For lovers of Apocalypse Now this is a must. It’s the best type of history. Amazing documentary
