Mike_Jones I think Reg recently posted Jack receiving an award for that film. It’s in our movie section somewhere. Defo worth checking out. I will make a point of watching it. Just seems to be one of those great films that has passed me by.

Under-the-ground Ken Kesey, Merry Pranksters & Furthur, Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Timothy Leary, the Beat Generation, William Burroughs - a line through literature that is part of the reason I'm now living in the US.

Edited to say: just been Googling some of this, Alex Gibney (top documentary fella) released an edit of Kesey's Merry Pranksters road trip, called Magic Trip, now on Prime - that's this evening's viewing sorted for me.

Just finished Caliphate, very good, so tense especially the last 2 episodes. It is hard hitting and sad, basically 3 stories inter connected about ISIS and a terror plot in Sweden. One for you @Cooley

Bod I’ve seen it, mate. There’s probably a Cooley Review of it somewhere on here. Yes, I thought it was ace. Difficult viewing in parts, but superbly acted, particularly by the lead actress.
