I'm sorry it didn't work for you. I agree on Redmayne but, honest, I've never liked him much as an actor. But Baron Cohen, for me, was a revelation in this. I'd thought he was just a fool but his performance here was sympathetic and cool and he was by far the one I couldn't take my eyes off. The other actor who comes out of it with big kudos is the guy who played Bobby Seale. Keaton, as usual, great. As a critique on the American justice system, I think it made it's point. I wouldn't want to be targetted by a right wing government in the US either. Whatever their politics all those guys had balls.
PS Tom Haydyn bedded Jane Fonda for long time. Lucky bastard!
