Have you seen the raft of new BBC shows?

Who lives in this house (or something) - some mildly famous cunts go to a massive house (fucking aspirational shit like fucking Top Gear - i'll never own or drive that) and some other cunts try and convince the mildly famous cunts it is their house.

I do not give one flying fuck.

This lip syncing shit - some cunts are either singing or lip syncing. Some mildly famous people have to guess (fucking botox filled Holden being one of the mildly famous cunts ffs) then the cunts sing for real and we discover they either:

A) have a beatiful singing voice
B) sing like cunts.

I'd argue they are all cunts full stop - from the fucking runner to the exec producer.

I'll read a book instead thanks.

The Jack Charlton doc was well put together I thought. Very poignant. I don't think I realised at the time how important to the country (Ireland) he was and the passion and feeling he generated. Ireland v Italy in New York of all places, jeez.

Harvest It had extra poignancy to me. It was aired exactly one year to the hour when I watched my mother die of this awful thing called Dementia. To look at Jack when he was shown in later life, that shuffle, that vacant look was my mother to a tea.

Jack also grew up with my (yet to be married) parents when he came to Leeds in the 50's as he boarded in Beeston. There used to be a big gang of them that played sport, such as cricket and tennis (which my mum was good at) on Cross Flatts Park. I've mentioned this before but my mum, who had a wcked sense of humour, always loved to tell the tale of Jack trying to fondle her breasts. We dont do things like that was her response. The age of innocence.

When he got the Middlesbrough job in '73 he invited my dad up. I went with my dad and got a guided tour by Jack of the shit hole that was Ayresome Park. A genuine bloke.

Cooley It's a good film. I usually diss Tom but he's great in this he should have kept the look. Really cool. Jamie Foxx does a really good job of keeping pace especially in the last section. This film pops into my head now and again for no reason and I think of the sets, the ambiance, the simmering danger. Yeah, underrated. Very good movie.

Couldnt understand a word Benedict Cumbernatch was saying though...seemed miscast to me.

doggybag I know Tom gets a lot of stick, what with his Scientology beliefs and all that, but I’ve always liked him. He’s actually a very, very good actor.
The rapport he had with Foxx was superb. I enjoyed it - although I felt it fell away a bit at the end. Mark Ruffalo was in it as well - another great actor.
