@Cooley# Few hidings off them, we had old fashioned cops in Leeds back then, traditionalists, and a few close calls.
BTP told me if I ever set foot in the station again I’d get nicked after one too many altercations on the railway. I was terrified of them, they’d planted a knife on a mate of mine once so I kept away for a long time. They used to park the van outside our house some Sunday mornings which I never understood. We lived about a mile and a half from the nearest railway station.
Trouble wise, I was only ever really on the edge of all that stuff, they were just the most fun peole to hang around with, piss takers and sarcastic fuckers to a man. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a fighter. Beside been called a socialist a few times the biggest compliment anyone ever gave me was an old mate calling me an old hippie at heart.
