Mike_Jones A Christmas Carol, the new Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders writer) version that's just been on BBC - marvelous, Scrooge with a modern twist, really moving. Guy Pearce superb.
doggybag Mike_Jones Yep, Had me wobbling for a minute with the scarred boy using Marley's grave as a Khazi. But I loved the snapping Crachett and I sat up at the whole Ali Baba stream, off the wall, completely original but the sister with the flintlock was a wee bit strange. Loved it though, Pearce has been one of my go to actors since Priscilla. The guy is class.

Loose_Lips Same here. Theres some great veg stuff about. Jamies Veg is good - all his books are. Ottolenghi - Plenty Hairy Bikers have a few veg / weight loss ones. Also very good.
