A lovely bunch of people. Some play in tournaments. I played 2 games and got beat narrowly. Think they were being nice.

Id defo go again. A nice way to spend a Monday night

I play it with the kids sometimes. It's a good game. Feels good to play a game that humans have been playing for over a millennia (I've just made up that timeline without looking it up so I may be wrong 😅)

Surprisingly, the game as it is was only invented in the late 19th century by market traders in Istanbul and draws inspiration from an old Chinese game that came down the silk road*.

* You're right. Making things up is fun.

Everyman in Harrogate. First time Ive ever been in an Everyman, very impressed.
