Mitaman Depends on how Farke sets up the midfield. But Ampadu's a centreback now. I would say, at his best, KP is Kamara+Gruev. So if KP can rediscover his form, the question would then become, who would you pair KP with in the midfield. Archie Gray?
I still maintain that, we can get by with 2 central midfielders in the championship, and even dominate. But the premier league is a different beast. Remember when Marsch went with Roca+Adams? Decent players too. Even now most of our goals are counter attacks. Not saying we absolutely need to sign KP, but Farke probably needs to have/ already have some plans to beef up the midfield if we go up.
