Given the respective transfer fees of all of that team:
Ayling - £750k
Dallas - £1m
Klich - £1.5m
Harrison - £10m
Alioski- £2.5m
Bamford - £8m
Cooper - £750k
Roberts - £3m
We’ve got value for money in terms of what they collectively delivered. Monies received through the sales of Phillips and Raphinha aside based on what we paid, the rest of our transfer business in terms of fees paid and received, has been woeful (excluding the players above).
You’d think we’d make a profit on Summerville, Gnonto, Meslier and now Gray, as and when they’re sold. But you’d struggle to see where we’ll profit outside of these ‘sales’.
