Personally Im ok with him going as long as it benefits the club and isnt insulting to the fans. Brentford is poor. Spurs I could take, espesh if Rodon is part of the deal.

The way I see it we never got the real Gray. As a mid-fielder in the youth squads, he recorded majestic talent. But Farke never gave that talent a decent run. Amazed there aren't any offers for Rutter, Summerville or Gnonto. I suspect clubs are waiting till the pips squeak at Leeds before they swoop. I'll miss him tho, nice lad, very good footballer. Shame he'll get mashed up in some premiership team processor.

He's too good to get ruined. He's already got what's needed, he might not have the best next 3 seasons, but he will be fine.

I liked the idea of him going to Brentford, I suspect they would have done right by him.

I'm guessing the club are open to this and Archie hasn't been pushing for it. Not unreasonably he probably doesn't want another season at full back. If he feels that is unlikely with Farke is the only grumble I can see him having.

Thinking about it, and I don't like the thought of Gray leaving and not developing at Leeds, from a FARKE's football point of view it makes sense.

Archie is going to be a midfield player and let's face it Farke doesn't ask a great deal of his midfield two, so Archie is over qualified for the job, he's bringing in a good fee when he was only going to be utilised by Farke as a hod carrier, he won't be missed in a Farke team.
