Alioski wasn't really that great, he had more poor games than good, very inconsistent and his shooting was bad. The only reason people like him, he was a team joker and he could wind opposition up. Poor in defence as well

heyho you could think that, but I think Harrison has just not played well this season, he still tries and does too much, he always takes that extra player on when a pass is the easier option.

The more I read about how Corberán has got HTFC flying the more I hope he's on our radar and we don't let any managerial uncertainties drag over the summer. If MB is going don't let him wait until August please Mr Kinnear.

Reggie_Perrin wasn't it rife at the time when he left Leeds that he was being groomed by getting 1st team managerial experience by going to Udders and that eventually he would replace Bielsa. Of course that comes from the media who like to talk bollocks.

Whats the financial implications if (when) we get relegated for the likes of the 49ers, umbrella etc.

Money from the sales of Meslier, Phillips, Raphinha and Rodrigo might boost the bank and would help to rebuild and we have a competent core of players like Dallas, Ayling, Struijk, Forshaw, Harrison, Cresswell, Summerville, Shackleton, Geldhardt etc (if we can hang on to them) to have a very strong Championship team if we can also strengthen.

Would we be able to attract the likes of the Udders lad Reg rates.

Kevin_Stapleton so is it better to stay in this league with the same manager and same failings and face relegation in the face year on year and be embarrassed by being tonked by the likes of Man City, Man U, Liverpool winning probably 10 matches a year plus a few draws or would going down a level, using the excellent backbone of Championship level players coupled with exciting youngsters we have plus new players and a new manager with new ideas and finding ourselves winning the vast majority of games.

I dont know the answer to that. My gut reaction is I'd love us to stay up but this season and especially recently has hardly been enjoyable has it.

I also feel even if we do stay up we will need to regroup and recruit significantly as there are many players not at this level now. And does the top flight facilitate a team full of inexperienced youngsters when you haven't got a backbone capable of supporting them.

Carlos C at Uddersfield has apparently been groomed for the job and is a near certainty to take over (based on conversations with my brother who should know a thing or 2 as he has contacts at the club through him being Producer of the 1st take us home doc and series advisor on the second)

Hope Bielsa stays but if not I’d look at the other end of the championship before looking to Huddersfield. Laugh away gents but Rooney has done a great job in tough circumstances.
