I was reading an article about Newcastle’s timewasting this season, which said that they have the second lowest ball-in-play % in the league, and that Leeds had the lowest.
This struck me as odd as we don’t tend to shithouse, and we generally seem to want to get on with it (probably because we are usually behind) - is it all down to fouls, injuries and throw-ins?
