Placid I hear you but I'm hanging on to the positives such as returning players, a more solid defence, a relatively decent goal difference, a more obvious pattern to our play, Garcia gradually getting his message across, winnable home games coming up - undefeated in two homes games since he arrived etc. Small things but it's certainly far from nailed on, we might just scrape it.

Placid That's why I was banging on like a demented loony, we could all see a big slice of softer games were going to be wasted. Some had hope we might pick up a good few points in them. I was convinced we wouldn't and as a result was rabid.

I'm sanguine and accepting of whatever fate has in store for us now. If it's the drop, the club only have themselves to blame.

What ever our fate is . It lies firmly with the owners. They brought the wrong manager in , who then recruited players for a system that failed miserably. They will also be taking a massive financial hit with relegation . The Marsch appointment has put us back years , a very costly gamble by them .

white_dragon Correct, and having all the footballing decisions left to Orta with no accountability IMO is not going to end well. Whatever happens at the end of the season it's time for Radz, Orta and Kinnear to leave. We should not be in the position where we are in our third season back.

It’ll be a reset either way this summer.
The big worry for me in terms of relegation is whether everything gets put on hold,
By that I mean takeover, ground redevelopment etc.
Feels like we’re treading water as a club and relegation could put us back years.

Someone has put on twitter a showreel of Rutter playing for Leeds, he's going to be brilliant if we can keep him next season. Better than Gnonto.

Foxy_Dread hate highlight reels. while he looks superb here and no doubt has talent, highlight reels are just that, glimpses of the very best moves passes jinks etc. You could just as easily put together a worst of highlights reel and for every little jink that comes off there will be 4 or 5 where he just gets dispossessed and then cant be arsed tracking back. I really hope he justifies his 40 million (euro) price tag. sooner rather than later. better than Gnonto? He has the potential to be, but right now we can't wait for potential to blossom. We are very close to needing 1.5 points per game, which is top 6 form and something we haven't managed since Marcelo's first season in the premiership. It will take a miraculous turn around in form and players like rutter to really stand up to the mark and be counted for us to survive. to be honest im already looking at which players will leave / have to be sold / have relegation clauses for our inevitable drop back into playing Rotherham away on a cold tuesday night.

EEPW I haven't seen much of Leeds lately but when I've seen Rutter he seems to have a work ethic so I'm surprised to find out he doesn't track back. I'm fully aware a highlights reel can distort the reality, but here we have a player whose use of the body when beating a man is exceptional, and does the sort of things I'd love to see at least one Leeds player performing. He's like a modern day Duncan McKenzie. He doesn't use gimmicky footwork tricks when beating a man, he just moves the ball around shrugs his shoulders and he's away. He's like a modern day Duncan McKenzie.

Foxy_Dread ive seen every game this season, and most of the u23s.

Harrison. been played on the right to accommodate Gnonto. on the right he is shite, on the left he is by far and away our most effective player as far as goals and assists go.

Aaronson /. first half of the season he was getting all the plaudits including some gushing from the MOTD crew, Not sure what's happened to him bit since coming back from Injury? he has looked gash.

Rutter / fancy dan rubish with potential

Gnonto /. needs support on the left, maybe he is better deployed as a no 10?

Bamford / one of my favourite players and criticised unfairly by some of our fanbase who know fuck all about football.
Bit like those who were booing the team against Brighton because we were not pressing.
