What Book Are You Reading Now?

Jon

A gift from my sister in law. They’re very proud of him in Kerry these days.

Travis_Bickle

Travis_Bickle found a little mention for our old music crew 'X in Effect'. He's done his research if he knows that name...we were just kids messing about in '87

Some very funny moments in this. Good book. Glad I didn’t wait for the paperback.

Anchor

Just finished this. Ace. Was recommended on here. Probably @Kevin_Stapleton

Thoroughly recommend it. It's got the lot. History, philosophy, psychology, humour, sadness, rails against consumerism, capitalism and imperialism. All in a lovely Irish accent.

Under-the-ground

Out the library.

Chris Blackwell & cliff Richard biogs. Pretty good ones.

When cliff does I hope he isn’t proved to be a nonce. He came across as decent

Flaneur

I've got a real soft spot for 'Carrie' by Cliff. Sound quality is excellent.

Cool glasses in the 'Wired For Sound' video too...

Jon

Flaneur is it considered Balearic?

Flaneur

Jon No, but apparently 'Some People' is.

Odd_Job

Flaneur ‘pre baggy’ The Farm, with brass section, great tune

Anchor

Bit of a Cowboy yarn. Enjoyable hokum.

The book is as old as me. 54 years!

Young_Marxist_at_Tescos How is the prose. The Prose. The English prose. In the book. The book you are reading. The book. The book. The book about football. And life. The prose.

AndreWeimaraner

Anchor that Red or Dead was truly painful. I’m sure Peace can write. He just chooses not to.
