On the Note I'm reading The Blue Afternoon By Boyd.

I do like William Boyd - a deft literary touch.

I just finished The New Confessions - a tremendous read. One of his underated whole life novels - the first world war depictions were harrowing.

Plus the Macarthy stuff was riveting.
