Just finished: The Overstory by Richard Powers. Trees. Lots and lots of trees. It bangs on a bit at times but it’s very readable and it does amke you think, which is what you want out of a book.
Just started: A biography of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins for book group. It seems his approach to honesty is similar to Trump’s; half the time the writer is listing all the different variations of stories he told different interviewers throughout his career and trying to work out which - if any - are true.
