Harvest fuzzy Not that I drink it but Stella's come down in strength a bit I understand. Less wife-beating tackle now, more heated argument.
Jon fuzzy Their IPA is quite nice if you want to drink all day and not get too trollied. Is this something new? I’d be smashed after an hour these days.
fuzzy Jon Me too on reflection. I was thinking of a stag do in the Peak District in my 30s where I tried to be sensible and drank it all day and felt not so bad the day after. Its only about 3.6%. Seems like two years ago or something in my head but it was a long, long time ago.
Kevin_Stapleton Afternoons with the blinds drawn by Brett Anderson. Not as good as his first* but a good read, very honest. - ha ha “I prefer his early stuff”
Jon Under-the-ground Still can’t believe that the lad who lent me his copy wanted to be a chef because of that book.
Cooley Not the kind of thing I’d usually read, but it was lying around the house. It’s pretty good actually. Not as good as reviews suggest, but worth a read nonetheless.
Anchor Cooley See. I'd always have that beige cunt in the back of my head as I read it. I'd be thinking about how i'd like to stand on a chair and punch the cunt in the face.
Under-the-ground The brother of Matt osman the bass player from suede. he has wrote a novel as well. No idea if any good
Bod Young_Marxist_at_Tescos just been reading up on these, sound a good series. Let me know what you think
white_dragon Young_Marxist_at_Tescos I've read ,London Rules. Didn't know it was part of a series, until now.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Bod About 2/3 through. It’s a bit like a better-written episode of Spooks so far. Some of it set in Leeds. And currently being made into a TV film with Gary Oldman. Apparently some incidental footage is being shot in Wakefield.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Finished this; as mentioned, a bit Spooks-like. Also emphasises the massive degree of shithouse behaviour that exists in all workplaces between different departments. Now onto Dead Lions.
