fuzzy Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart. Fucking hell, it's grim. Beautifully written though. Can't put it down.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Finished this; as mentioned, a bit Spooks-like. Also emphasises the massive degree of shithouse behaviour that exists in all workplaces between different departments. Now onto Dead Lions.
Bod The Dry, Jane Harper. Debut crime novel about a family murdered in a town in the Australian outback
white_dragon Was reading, a perfect prey by Helen Fields . Until I put it in a bag with a leaking water bottle. Just ordered it for kindle only £1.49.
Kevin_Stapleton The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. Mental to think that this was happening just a generation back.
space I came across this and and listened to James Baldwin speak for two minutes and now I know that the next thing I read will have been written by him.
Cooley Bod Probably my favourite ever book. Henri Charriere - fuck me, what a life he had. *assuming it was all true of course.
Bod Cooley I read it years ago, apparently some of the stories are from other inmates, so true in a part, he just put his name to them, still a good book though
