CBIT Had an interview in Horsforth today (who knew a large multinational professional services company would be headquartered in what was a wedding venue/restaurant that i went to in me yoof) so got to see my mate who i should have spent christmas with, he got me this remote for scale - its ginormous 700+ pages ps fish and Chips from Murgatroyds for tea - immense
Anchor CBIT Supposed to be good that. I've a hip hop book in a similar vein. You need a fucking lecturn akin to Sam Tarleys to read the fucker. Hence I've never read it. You could use it as footings for a double garage it's that big.
Kevin_Stapleton And it was beautiful- Phil Hay He writes well does our Phil. There’s plenty here that you’ll be aware of, but plenty of nuggets also, like the fact that Bielsa pays his assistants out of his own salary, based on performance. Recommended.
Jon Kevin_Stapleton We’re really lucky to have such a good writer covering the club. I bought the kindle version but it hasn’t really gripped me like I hoped it would. I’ve been dipping in and out but enjoy what I read when I read it. Maybe I’d have flown through a physical book? Love his podcast too.
otis otis Finished it. A very very good book. Goes into depth on the alcohol impact on families. There are some bits that are uncomfortable but I have come across some tales of these acts people will do for a drink in real. The bullying from the scheme is near the bone. But highly recommended.
Jon To See Paris And Die. Middle child reading it in her history class said I might find it interesting. I think she meant confusing.
