A couple of wacky doctors fanny about with daft sounding experiments such as plugging the nose for ten days and just breathing through the mouth. Everything was worse after this one, blood pressure, heart rate, sleep, energy levels etc. Mouth breathing is bad for you. They also tape their gobs up at night (not at the same time obvs) and feel much better after just nose breathing. Goes into breathing techniques, achieving altered states (or trying to) and just optimal breathing patterns. Explains how you absorb oxygen and how you need CO2 to do this (oxygen - good, co2 bad is a myth). Interesting book overall.Take home message - Shut your mouth.
