Harvest ☝️On about my 8th play of this over the last couple of days. I've heard the name but never investigated. Released in '71 and sank without trace until being re-released in the 90s. A few heads on here might appreciate it if. It's wonderful.
Under-the-ground Wild beasts two dancers . Not listened to this for a while. One of the best albums & bands of the last few years. cracking record. Was good to go back into it
Under-the-ground Great record. John head plays on that. Chatting to the merchandise bloke in Bristol last week he said John is now a painter & decorator?! Paintings gain is musics loss . whatever happened to that album he recorded. He is to good not to be performing & making music
Anchor The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - a band I have heard of and am aware of but never troubled my ears with. Why? Eff knows. Possibly the word 'Blues' in the band title. Anyway - I am giving this a spin. It is the album Orange btw.
Anchor Harvest I am not overly enamoured if I am honest. Some tracks jump out - that dirty white southern soul type of stuff but in the main it is a no from me.
90Piesanhour Not a fan myself. Like a poor man's version of the Jim Jones Revue. Listen to them, they are much better:
Harvest On this. Bittersweet really, David Berman who was essentially Purple Mountains, took his own life the month after it was released. The whole album has a gallows humour to it.
YoungParisian_inExile Highly recommended . One of the best albums I’ve heard for some time. Definitely giving Kendrick Lamar a run for his money
Anchor With all the McCartney chat i thought i'd give this a spin. never listened to it before. I like it.
