The Skids - the absolute game.
this has been on heavy rotation in under the ground towers .not a duff song, clear ideas, great lyrics and Stuart adamsons guitar work is Stella. The last three songs are superb.
only coming to light in my brain what a great player he was. This & the first two big country albums are stone cold classics

Under-the-ground Masquerade was the first single I bought. I could once high kick like Richard Johnson too. If I did it now I'm looking at a week off work.

Love the Skids. Was lucky enough to see them a couple of times during the Scared to Dance and Days in Europa times. Bratfut gig at the uni was ace - some kid got pulled from the audience and did an excellent redition of Alber Tatlock. Jobson ended up getting a bit above himself didn't he, with the Armoury and other pretentious drivel....

Djpekingman went to see them in wakey about five years ago. Still doing his kicks. I happen to have that armoury show 12 inch "glory of love" I think it was. But you are right he went on yoof tv programmes and all that from what I can remember but he must have been in his late 20's early 30's. How old was Peter Powell?

good jangly guitar album, with his usual non singing. I really like it
