Harvest I can't make my mind up about this. Every song seems a bit special but the whole album in one sitting seems to be a bit overwhelming. Probably just me.

It's bang up my street, Saint Cloud knocked me for six but this is fuller, rounder, more mature. She's got the lovely southern drawl y'all and and hits those high notes perfectly. Irish Centre in July.

My son's scout leader is called Graham Nash incidentally. He shares some traits with his namesake I imagine. Very nice bloke, extremely laid back, probably too laid back. Very disorganised. The motto 'be prepared' is heavily ironic with their troop. They did a big hike around winter hill last year and one of the kids got lost and ended up in Wigan. A mind-boggling achievement. They are like the dads army of scout troops.

Loose_Lips I don't know much about Nash tbh. Just knew he had a weird trans Atlantic accent and that's about it. Didn't know he was a cunt. Always held a grudge against Crosby after reading about how he used to play head games with gene Clark and contributed to his breakdown and leaving the byrds. I've read Neil Youngs Waging Heavy Peace and I like him a lot.

Texas And Spooner Oldham, The Muscle Shoals Sessions. I'm quietly confident most of you will hate this. I've loved Sharleen's singing since I Don't Want A Lover. Nothing revolutionary here just stripped back versions of previously released songs and a couple of covers.

Harvest I cannot get enough of this record. I love it love it. Every song . The first two are beautiful, but the last three what a run. I am drained by the end.

One of the best albums I have heard. Gives mick head a good run . Easily as good as nick drake for me.

It's a lovely album.
