New years day could almost be motorik - the bass is brilliant.

A right mish mash of an album with different styles and influences and pre Bono warbling and whooping. Red Light could be a Teardrops song. Refugee and Echo song.

Wellers new one is very good. I know it’s covers but be does a great job with it. Apparently Craddock produced it. His playing is fantastique.

Been re-visiting Mick Head's Loophole recently. There are some really great songs on it. Especially Connemara, You smiled at me, Merry Go Round and Coda. I even like Ambrosia now which I thought was a bit crap at first. Best song about rice pudding I've ever heard tbh on reflection.

Foxy_Dread Good album. I like the Brix era albums the most. I wasn’t into the earlier stuff. I think Kicker Conspiracy was the first thing I bought by them. Double single effort with the never bettered Container Drivers.
Just had a quick read up on the recording of the album and came across this. What an interesting and varied career.
