Yes. There are different contract types for single practises and group practices. I'm looking for information on the history of these multiple practice contracts but can't find anything. I don't know if they're a relatively new thing or if this is just the inevitable entry of economies of scale into the system.

space Boots is a massive provider of pharmacy services to the NHS, there is a role for such services but there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed but I don’t think this GP thing is beyond that unless it devalues the role of a GP. The BMA need to be on this.
